Introduction - Local Government of Nepal

According to the Constitution 2072, the local level means village councils, municipalities and district assemblies. History of Local Government of Nepal

From 2073 Falgun 27, 744 local level was implemented. According to a new level of local structure, 6 metropolitan bodies, 11 sub-municipalities, 200 municipalities and 463 village holders have been formed throughout the country.
