Introduction - National Human Rights Commission Nepal

The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) of Nepal is a free and self-governing protected body. It was set up in the year 2000 as a statutory body under the Human Rights Commission Act 1997 (2053 BS). The Interim Constitution of Nepal 2007 (2063 BS) has made the NHRC a sacred body. It has a different circle of obligations in the sacred legitimate arrangement of the nation. These duties supplement the obligations of the typical apparatus of the organization of Justice, the Supreme Court, the Office of the Attorney General, the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority, and other existing official, semi legal or legal assortments of Nepal.
